Bible verse Interpretation:Joel 2:12-15

Joel 2:12-14 ERV

This is the Lord’S message: “Now come back to me with all your heart. Cry and mourn, and don’t eat anything! Show that you are sad for doing wrong. Tear your hearts, not your clothes. ” Come back to the Lord your God. He is kind and merciful. He does not become angry quickly. He has great love. Maybe he will change his mind about the bad punishment he planned. Who knows, maybe he will change his mind and leave behind a blessing for you. Then you can give grain and drink offerings to the Lord your God.

My interpretation

This is God's message and I will explain while interpretating

"Now come back to God with all your heart (means return back to Christ)
Cry and and mourn and don't eat anything (feel disatisfied and sad)
Tear your hearts, not your clothes (Cry for the Lord because you want him back deep in your heart)
Come back to the Lord your God (Come back with the Lord )
He is kind and merciful (he is very kind, and he will give you mercy)
He doesn't becomes angry quickly (he is very patient for you to know him)
He has great love (he loves everyone because he gives us mercy)
Maybe he change his mind about the bad punishment(he might stop punishment because you already feel sorry and understand that what we didn't was wrong and we ask for forgiveness.)
Who would know maybe  he will change his mind and leave you a blessing (he might leave a blessing for us if we repent and obey him)
Then you can give and drink offering to the Lord your God (You can praise the Lord and thank him for return back into the Lord.)

I hope everyone had a good rest of the day.God bless you
